Jimmy Anderson announced as new face of Hairbond

Lancaster-based hair brand Hairbond has announced it has signed England cricket player James ‘Jimmy’ Anderson as the face and

Ambassador of all marketing campaigns until September 2014.

The 30-year-old fast bowler, who became only the fourth Englishman to take 300 Test wickets, has agreed to be the

face of the British brand’s marketing campaigns until September 2014.

Anderson took to Twitter on Monday to announce his new partnership;

Hairbond have grown from nothing to exporting to over 20 international distributors including USA, Australia and Singapore.

They also have over 500 independent UK hair salons stocking the Hairbond products as well. Their products are also used by a

whole host of celebrities including movie stars, athletes and TV personalities.

Hairbond Founder Scott Michaels quotes “With the Ashes upon us shortly this is great timing signing England crickets hottest

property and is England’s all time highest international wicket-taker. Getting Jimmy on board is a huge statement to where we

are heading with the brand as there is only one objective with our brand: Being the best”.

Hairdressing expert Scott Michaels founded Hairbond United Kingdom In 2008. He has since designed and produced a range of

first class British haircare products.

Scott comments “After nearly 15 years of retailing professional products I personally became dissatisfied with imported,

boring and gimmicky brands with sub standard product ranges”. “Since Hairbond has launched we are now exporting around the

world. We are also continuing to generate a cult following, as well as a huge list of celebrity fans. Our brand is not about

gimmicks but giving people a quality British made alternative to their hairstyling routine”

Jimmy will be taking part in a vintage-themed photo shoot on June 25th 2013 in a Manchester barber shop.
